Blind Channel offers a fishing experience away from the crowds.  Ours is often the only boat trolling in some of the waters we fish.  It's a peaceful experience the whole family can enjoy.  Lingcod, rockfish, yelloweye, halibut, and all five species of pacific salmon are plentiful in these waters.

Bute Inlet Photography Expedition

Explore one of BC's most spectacular waterways!  Rugged mountains plunge from heights of up to 9000 feet straight into a 2000-foot chasm of water making for a visually stunning experience you won't forget.  On the way you will pass through some of the world's fastest-moving tidal waterways, the Dent and Arran Rapids.  Take the opportunity to explore beaches that few have ever set foot upon from our custom built, high speed landing craft.  Our resident professional photographer and guide will help you capture the experience.

Johnstone Strait Whale Watching

Johnstone Stait is considered to be the best place in the world to see orcas in the wild.  This 70 mile stretch of turbulent tidal water is a main thoroughfare for Pacific salmon returning to their spawning grounds.  It is a rich habitat for marine mammals including Pacific white sided dolphins, porpoises, stellar sea lions, and harbour seals.  Humpback whales are also occasionally spotted in this ecologically diverse area.  Our sturdy welded aluminum boats and experienced captains ensure a safe excusion through these wild and windswept waters.

Loughborough Inlet Bear Watching and Historic Thurlow Islands Tour

Grizzly and black bears are abundant in our local inlets.  April to June is the best time to see these majestic and powerful creatures from the water.  Along the way, you will have the opportunity to see ancient First Nations pictographs and to learn some of the rich and colourful history of the area.

This is a beautiful place and very comfy accommodations, with friendly staff. I am reading two books, "I Heard the Owl Call my Name" and "Spilsbury's Coast." It is unique to be reading stories of the coast history while living in it. A wonderful trip.
